We’re kicking off a new show on our podcast this week called 1V1. 1V1 goes beyond the pitch to get better acquainted with our guest to highlight their story and key moments leading up to matchday.

Our first guest is Alesia Garcia. Alesia plays soccer for the University of New Mexico Lobos.

During their conversation, Chris learns about her Colorado upbringing, the meaning of local pride, and just whose chile is better, Colorado or New Mexico.

It was good conversation including her reaction firsthand to setting marks during her Junior year.
